to
Extend Learning

Welcome to WCASD K-5 Extensions

Welcome to the WCASD K-5 Extensions resource website. As part of the district’s new homework policy, teachers from across the district have collaborated to design a digital resource that provides a variety of learning connections that reach beyond the classroom. Please take the opportunity to explore the resources that may support your child’s learning throughout the school year.

21st Century Teaching & Learning

Who Owns the Learning

The only thing constant in the world is change. The U.S. continues to try and adapt in order to prepare students for success.  As a school district, WCASD and its outstanding teachers are on the front lines working to ensure instructional practices provide the opportunities students need to master the 4 C's...creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. Hopefully this website provides parents the information needed to support the journey and extend the learning!
